  • CAN I COLOR MY HAIR?

Yes. Above Par Imports is 100% raw unprocessed hair that can be colored and bleached as desired. However, it is recommended to consult a professional.

  • DOES HAIR REQUIRE MAINTENANCE?

Yes. Raw hair is high maintenance as is it does require upkeep to preserve its character. Utilizing medium-high quality shampoo and conditioning products will be key in maintaining the integrity with daily attention. You may also find additional hair care tips and recommendations here.

  • HOW LONG WILL MY HAIR LAST?

We do not put an expiration date on our hair. With attention, quality maintenance - it can last a period of time. Remember, excessive heat and/or color will result in reduction of hair quality. 

  • DOES THIS HAIR SHED?

Manufactured or manipulated hair is expected to experience minimum shedding. Also, if you cut your tracks and/or tape-ins - that may occur. You may seal the wefts to prevent hair from shedding. To help with shedding, each bundle is double-wefted - while tape-ins are super double-drawn. Remember, proper maintenance and care are vital.

  • CAN I CANCEL/CHANGE OR MODIFY MY ORDER?

NO cancellations are allowed after 12hrs — cancellation requests received within 12hrs from the purchase date & time are eligible for a FULL refund. In ANY exception cancellation request granted* outside the 12hr purchase date period is subject to a 30% cancellation penalty*. No order modifications are allowed once placed - double check your cart prior to checkout. Please be sure to read all store policies and this entire FAQ section prior to purchasing as ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

  • WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP & HOW LONG IS SHIPPING? 

Once your order is placed -  order processing time-frame begins on the business day following the date of purchase (to allow time for our cancellation period). Order processing time frame is approx. 7-14 business days prior to dispatch. Shipping takes approx. 1-4 business days once released from our possession. Shipment details will be emailed to the address provided at the time of purchase. All orders are shipped via UPS or USPS; while international orders are shipped via USPS or UPS.

A SIGNATURE WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ALL ORDERS

  • MY ORDER STATUS SAYS SHIPPED - BUT NO UPDATES?

Please allow 24-48hrs after you receive your shipping confirmation email to show movement on the shipping carriers tracking system. If you do not see movement after 48hrs, please email us at cs@aboveparimports.com.

  • DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Yes! Above Par Imports does ship internationally! The purchaser is responsible for any custom fees, taxes, or clearance charges that may be imposed by the destination country. 

  • WHY DID I GET A REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION?

Likely due to a shipping address that differs from the mailing. If you receive a request for additional information, please complete ASAP; your order will NOT begin to process until approval. If ID verification isn't completed within 3 days - your order will be cancelled. 

  • MY ITEMS ARE LOST OR STOLEN. HOW DO I GET A REFUND?

Above Par Imports is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. All sales are FINAL. You must contact the shipping carrier directly for further assistance.

Above Par Imports offers package insurance through ROUTE to all customers at checkout. If selected, please monitor your package until it gets to your destination. In the event of any mishaps please use this link to file a claim claims.route.com. Route will open and conduct an investigation.

If you unselect or OPT out of Route Package insurance, Above Par Imports is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged packages that occur by the shipping carrier

By opting out of Route package insurance, you acknowledge and remove any liability from Above Par Imports. We will not handle any investigations through the shipping carrier if the package is lost, stolen or damaged. We are NOT responsible for any inconveniences or situations that may arise once released.

Above Par Imports will not replace any lost, stolen or damaged packages that are deemed "lost, stolen or damaged" by the shipper as evidenced by a claims report, for any customer who OPTs out of Route package insurance. 

  • IN THE EVENT MY ORDER ISN'T DELIVERED & I MISS MY HAIR APPT OR EVENT/OCCASION - WILL ABOVE PAR IMPORTS COVER THE COST OF HAIR APPT AND/OR ANY FEES?

No, Above Par Imports will not cover any costs or fees associated with cancellation of hair services, appointments, events, etc. Please wait to receive and confirm the purchased order before booking hair appts & etc. Our orders are processed within the time-frame outlined in our store policies.
